Fall at the Gontarek Bed and Breakfast

Well we have had a nice fall so far!  We are getting taking good care of here at the Gigi/Gpops bed and breakfast!  Coffee is made every morning, our bed is comfortable, and the kids are very entertained!   However, as nice as it is here, we are looking forward to finally moving into our new home.  I don't think we will make it in by Halloween, but hopefully shortly thereafter.

March Updates

To all my blog viewers (ok the 2 or 3 of you that actually look at this!), I am sorry that I have been bad about posting lately. Things have been CRAZY!    Anyway, here are some pictures to sum up the last few weeks! 

We had some bad weather hit last Friday which resulted in Carrie, Andrew and I heading to the basement for a "picnic."  Carrie and Andrew had lots of fun and I ran to the window many times to check out the giant hail pieces.  Luckily, we had no real damage.

Progress is continuing on the house...basement walls are up!  Yeah!  Build, build, build!

Lastly, here are some pictures of Andrew and Carrie taken by Mimi.  Andrew still isn't walking but he is getting close (we hope - our backs are breaking!).

New Adventure

As many of you know, Paul and I have embarked on a new adventure - building a home!  I never thought that our nerves would be able to handle building a new home, but it has turned out to be a lot of fun (thanks to our builder).  Right now they are in the process of pouring the basement walls.  Below are some pictures....  Wish us luck!!!
