Paul and I are anxiously awaiting the birth of our baby daughter. She is due in less than two weeks. As you can see, I am about as big as a house and most of my maternity clothes don't fit anymore!
The family members have all chimed in with predictions of her birth date:
- Aunt Elizabeth June 13th (oops already passed)
- Aunt Amanda & Uncle Brett June 19th (oops already passed)
- Paul (Dad) June 23rd
- Kay (Gigi) June 25th
- Julie (Mom) June 27th
- Dad (Grandpa T) June 30th
- Jerry (G Pops) July 1st
- Mom (Grandma T) July 4th (her actual due date)
Paul would like her to come next weekend, so that he can watch Wimbledon while he is changing diapers.
The nursery is almost done! The colors are primarily red and white. I will tell you it is very hard to find baby stuff in red and white, but we managed to make it work with the help of my Mother (who came up with the theme) and Randy (our old neighbor) who made the window treatments and pillows.
Paul repainted the bathroom to a beautiful light blue/green color and is in the process of building some shelves for the closet (see him in action below).
