I certainly had something
to be thankful for this past week. I was on my way to a business trip to
Atlanta and was a little south of Dalton, GA when traffic came to a standstill.
I thought it was due to an accident but when I arrived at the Adairsville, GA exit,
I suspected it was something more than an accident. As you probably saw on
national news, a large tornado struck Adairsville and did major damage. You can
see in the pictures I took below that a tractor trailer was turned to its side
as well as many cars. In addition, trees and poles were ripped to shreds.
The reason I feel so luck is that I left the house later than I planned
to that morning...if I had left on time, I might have run right into it!
