St. Lucia - Friday
On Friday morning, we went into town for some essential groceries: Piton beers, cheese, crackers, fruit and other snacks. Then, after some time by our pool, we visited nearby resort Jalouse where we enjoyed some time on the beach. The trip was a lot of fun until our driver forgot about us and we stood in the hot parking lot for about an hour waiting for him - oops! That night we had dinner at another nearby resort, Ladera. Ladera has a beautiful bar over looking the two pitons. You can enjoy the sunset and play with their many board games while you wait for dinner.

Wow--what beautiful pictures--looks like a vacation in paradise. Glad you two had some time away. We leave August 20 for a 3-4 week road trip out west visiting national parks including Yosemite, Redwood, Crater Lake, and others in Utah, Texas, and New Mexico.
